Two Toes will pan all the material scraped out of those cracks for the small flood gold. I've been watching him for almost 8 years. He is in your area of California but goes also to Nevada. He gets a lot of gold and relics such as chinese coins, bottles and tools left by the old timers. He detects lots of the hydrolic pits above the Yuba when the water is too high. Smith Gold is his partner along with some other gold seekers. He seldom gets less than 2 grams and gives a lot of tutorials on his channel.

I dream of meeting someone who will let me work a claim on that very river. Until then I’m stuck on public spots that are just beat to death. For myself finding spots is the hardest part so far, but I’m nowhere near close to giving up. Thanks for more inspiration.

For the pics, if you want the bigger ones, I've found the craftsman set at lowes is quite a bit cheaper than even the harbor freight set. Just a bit more of a pain to haul around
