The question that started this video was simple:<br><br>“The new treatment gives 25 million stem cells. How many does yours give?”<br><br>My answer is that a cell number alone cannot make that comparison.<br><br>A defined culture-expanded cell product and a multi-component biological strategy are not simply two syringes containing different numbers of the same thing.<br><br>But the scientific limit matters too: there is no head-to-head randomised trial showing that PRASAD is superior to the 25-million-cell product.<br><br>So if you are considering a biological treatment for knee arthritis, I would ask four questions:<br><br>What exactly am I being given?<br>How was it prepared?<br>What part of my disease is being targeted?<br>What evidence supports this particular preparation?<br><br>Which of those four questions had you thought about before watching this video?
