Tbh Rudie and Ribecca are honestly the best starters event toons if you really want them. Since a lot new players are in need a help for of escaping/chasing twisteds or getting stuck with a debuff by a specific twisted I'm pretty sure these two event toons are best for their survival ability.

Eggson might be higher for me now since his stats got changed to 20% instead of 10%, which combined with wrench can help out someone new immensely.

Rudie is a really good survivalist. I was even able to get griefed by one, and I usually survive griefers/they die before me.

ribecca sucks for starters honestly, but as a “pro” ive gotten my highfloor of 73 with here and the reason i got that far was because of her ability to not be slowed from vee😭

In my opinion it’s better for new players to start of doing solos instead of playing matchmaking it teaches one many useful self sustain skills in the unforgiving landscape that is public runs

My friend got me into Dandy's World around the beginning of December and Rudie was the first toon I bought(by my friends advice), and he was so much fun to learn the game with. Although I wish I got into the game sooner, having Rudie as my first toon was a big help

i really like these rankings! i really hope someday in the future boxten and poppy are reworked and both of their abilities or poppys at least become something thats given to all toons as a passive thing. maybe the boost wouldnt be as strong as boxtens but a slight extraction boost for how many teammates alive for every toon would really help encourage teamwork and keeping teammates alive. poppys wouldnt really need any changes though, i think that ability becoming a universal passive to all toons would be balanced and fair.

A good first step to make these starter toons for y'know, starters, would be to not have them confined to 3 stars in stats all around. Having them vary will help new players know the different playstyles
