  Some fun fact about Jasmine: According to her Pokemon Adventures GSC Arc, she was formerly a Rock-type specialist, using an Onix as her ace, then her Onix evolved into Steelix, a Pokemon that, at that time, was not documented anywhere by anyone. She handily defeated Brock using this unknown Pokemon in the Johto-Kanto exhibition series, prompting Prof. Oak to introduce the new Steel type into the mix.

He canonically cares more about if it fits the dragon vibes than if it&apos;s an actual dragon type.

  Fairy type is perfect for Sabrina, especially anime Sabrina. Fairies in folklore aren&apos;t just cutesy pink creatures, they&apos;re terrifying powerful beings who are known to play tricks on people, and her turning people into dolls and having part of herself be represented by a talking doll would easily fit into the realm of fae magic.

She seems to have come to accept Gordie’s choice of Rock types, considering in her rare league card, it’s stated that she became the first member of his fan club, and the picture seems to be her cheering him on, while he looks uncomfortable. Since it also says that their Pokémon battle ended up dividing the <i>town</i> imma go out on a limb and say that they probably squashed their beef between each other and are just too busy to see each other, but the people of Circhester is out here thinking it’s still going on.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUXNEFO6QPQ&amp;t=121">2:01</a> Fun fact: in the TCG, there’s a card called Erika’s Ivysaur (there was also and Erika’s Bulbasaur), so technically, giving her one would be in line with something she’s ‘had’ in a sense. If you didn’t know/take this into account to begin with, your intuition was spot on! The card was originally released in Japanese in 1999 and in English in 2000. One of my favorite cards in my collection.
