  Awesome collection. I have PGX books as well. I always buy the book and never the slab. If I can get a book at a cheaper price because of a slab then I do it. I'm a collector first. In my experience, the main difference between CGC and PGX grading is how each company grades mid grade books (4.0 -7.5) CGC is a lot more stricter at this range, otherwise low grades and high grades are pretty consistent. I also appreciate that you really are a fan of comics because you are not another anti restoration snob. Before CGC, restoration was a very common and sometimes well respected art. People restored books because they loved them and wanted to preserve them especially books that are rare and scarce. Happy collecting.

  Hey, I just found your channel and I am really happy about it. I loved seeing your comics and hearing your stories, I am kinda new to comics and here in Italy is hard to keep track of things, especially cause I am 22 and I don’t have any friends that share the same passion and I just tried to “educate” myself on my own. I managed to acquire some comics I like, like carnage first appearance, omega red too, scarecrow first silver appearance and some others. I am really happy I found someone who actually speaks to the public and shares his stories, keep going like this and can’t wait to hear more stories!

  Restored and .5s are fine for 90 year old books that are LEGITIMATE pieces of American pop culture, and an art form less than 5 years old. Especially a GL 1, WW 1, Superman 2 and those Marvel Torch books.<br>It’s crazy how within reach these books were 15 years ago. <br>I got a bunch of GA from Metropolis as well
