  I rolled up the older highlights into a single short unnamed position and only listed the company and until .... &nbsp;<br>And my graduation date benefits me. &nbsp;60% of my team was laid off so I went back to school and finished a data science degree. &nbsp;I had been doing my it/data jobs without one because previous employees just cared that I knew how

  Speaking of which what is the ideal age range these days? I was in an interview where the two guys made comments implying I may young (less experienced in enterprise work) when I have done senior roles in enterprise deals for over 11 years. Yes I look young but I had the 10-15 years listed in the resume. Either those people didn’t even read or they were biased. So too old is bad and too young is bad too.

  it is unfortunate that the people in the world of recruiting behave so badly toward experienced people. But I list 10 years of experience max, and someone will probably tell me that that dates me. &nbsp;I also make sure I don&apos;t have things on that résumé that I don&apos;t want to do again for some reason -- as a tech person I have no mention of the word Windows or Microsoft just because I&apos;ve moved past dealing with platforms connected to Microsoft.

  No they aren&apos;t. &nbsp;They use LinkedIn Recruiter which is garbage and omits a lot of information like &apos;Caregiving&apos; for example. &nbsp;And of course because they can&apos;t take 10 seconds to look at your actual profile they end up sounding stupid and irrelevant. &nbsp;I get recruiters reaching out to me for engineering roles and I have never been an engineer and the word doesn&apos;t even exist anywhere in my profile. &nbsp;99% of recruiters are shit and couldn&apos;t hold down a sales role in their own companies. &nbsp;FACT!
