Sauron isn't afraid that his enemies will find the ring first and destroy it - destroying the ring is the one thing he can't imagine anyone wanting to do with it - he can only imagine them taking it for themselves and using it against him... that is his single biggest mistake.

Realistically, Sauron knows about Eru and is probably terrified of him, he just seems to assume Eru is basically AFK and doesn’t care enough to intervene directly lol, which is somewhat accurate.

Eru likes letting things play out naturally and only subtly interferes sometimes (like Gollum in Mount Doom), but if he stopped caring about “the music” and wanted to Thanos snap Sauron, Morgoth, the Ring, etc. out of existence, he absolutely could lol.

When you look at it this way, to me with just Eru's existance Sauron and Morgoth’s plans start feeling kinda silly. The power gap is basically author vs NPC.

The explanation at the end was exact and perfect Tolkien would be so proud if he had seen these videos. You have a great gift as well at explaining and laying out without excessiveness keep up the exceptional work. I am forever a fan.

Gandalf put his hand on Pippin's head. 'There never was much hope,' he answered. 'Just a fool's hope, as I have been told.

Talking about love, I think the best act of love was shown by sam. The ring itself cannot corrupt Sam. He gave it up willingly.

Genuinely really enjoyed this series. It helped to have a greater understanding of of the books I loved but haven’t read in years and answered questions I’ve always had. I appreciate this a lot

You should definitely do a deep dive on the witch king and the Nazgûl like you did for Sauron, I love it, great stuff!

I just wanted to say, the simple fact that you take the time to deep dive into the lore, present it in detail, and care enough about your content to narrate it yourself and NOT use AI instead is exactly what this medium is desperately lacking. Thank you for your hard work. Great video man!

I just binge watched these three ages of Sauron videos and I can see only one conclusion to a pressing problem that has hounded us since the day the Adam partook from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Our mind defies us. It lies to and deceives us. It overthrows what feels good in our heart and easily casts doubt over the warmth that is born of the heart. Our mind is a distraction that only results in our downfall while our hearts are our true guiding light. Moreover, it is only from our heart that we can forgive, not just to forgive others but to ultimately forgive one’s self for having listened to our mind in the first place. As such, It is incumbent upon ourselves to adhere to the last. I thank you.
