  my problem with a lot of guides is that either the advice is super polarizing, or the advice is just fencesitting. good advice ISN'T about the right answer, it's about recognizing the question and surrounding context.

  as a support main i do damage until my teammates need healing. then i heal. then back to damage.

  As Kiriko I do DPS, because I want them to fear me when they see me, I want to be able to see the tank coming over on me because their dps fear me

  I sincerely thank you for addressing chat manners... I play on console and am BAFFLED at how much time some of these players take to text shitty messages to their own teammates. Or (hilariously) to dump on the opposing team while their team is losing 😂

  Ahh you almost got me. I was thinking "wow maybe I don't heal enough" but then I remembered advice #1, it's actually my teammates who are taking too much damage!

  I think the “just play who you’re comfortable with” mentality is fine to a point. Like if youre playing junk and theyre on pharah echo you should swap or youre probably throwing

  One of the realest and truest videos I’ve seen in a while. Your first point hit home so hard. A lot of people have convinced themselves to always blame themselves for any and every loss even when the scoreboard <b>literally</b> communicates what happened. There was a ranked match on Ilios I had a few weeks ago where I went 26-4 on Dmon. We lost the match. <br><br>I look at the scoreboard and we had a 4-12 Symmetra. Literally the only one on the team who went negative due to lack of good positioning and bad target priority. <b>Anyone</b> who says that this metric “doesn’t tell the whole story” is just plain delusional. But I’ve done what you said to do: just stay quiet and say “gg go next” to myself.
