  Japan: we have this precisely crafted, limited quantity, artisan ceremonial drink known for its pure, subtle flavors &nbsp;and mental enhancement.<br>USA: we&apos;ll take most of your stock and add it to blended sugar milkshakes and other foodstuffs where you can barely taste it, let alone feel it. After that, we&apos;ll follow up with coffee.

  As a Japanese person, I drink green tea daily, definitely without sugar. But matcha is still ceremonial and barely we have a chance to drink one. When we do, it&apos;s always straight matcha, with nothing added like sugar and cream. The matcha craze in the U.S is so new to us! Please note that it&apos;s not something that you eat/drink in such a huge volume! A little goes a long way...

  Knowing that Starbucks popularized matcha in the US really explains why most people like their matcha sweetened. Whether it be coffee or matcha, what Starbucks really sells is flavored milk and sugar syrup. I feel like most people want to say they like high quality Matcha, but what they really like is matcha flavored sweetened milk.

  the taste test was a waste of time... <br>You introduce it as comparing Japanese vs Chinese Matcha, but then do the test on people that don&apos;t even like matcha
