So humble Lara, Igor composed the music, but Lara wroted the lyrics and the story.... great team Igor and Lara from 2010-16:hand-pink-waving:

“That look” is by far my favorite part of this performance. I love it when she interacts and teases a camera. Thanks for another great one!

Well, Zack, Lara really is a witch! Who else can bewitch you like that with a single glance? And who else could embody this song quite so well? It is no coincidence that Lara wrote it. She is fully aware of her own duality—poised between kindness and generosity, yet also passion and impulsiveness; between vocal softness and raw power! That duality extends to her life, too: the (very) highs and the (very) lows. Lara is a bit like Mademoiselle Hyde: a woman torn between two personalities, even two destinies, battling her demons, possessing a dangerous magnetism that could burn you if you got too close. She’d certainly burn me, that’s for sure!

It’s worth noting that Lara, from the age of 8 to 18, trained not only in singing but also in acting and in any other areas that might help her later in her career.
She would be right at home on the theatre stage.
Who can claim to have had a 10-year apprenticeship before truly embarking on a career?

Lara also sung in Russian at this same concert, she moved the Russian audience to tears. The song can be translated to English as "Love is Like a Dream". It has a loooong and high ending note. ❤❤❤❤

The harp, understated yet fundamental, and the strings sketch out a sensual, magical lyricism with distinctly "Oriental" nuances. Indeed, these are essential elements of the Russian classical musical tradition, upon which Igor Krutoy’s compositional mastery draws so richly.

It is within this enveloping atmosphere that a "femme fatale" Lara, at once elusive and dazzling, enacts, with her voice, a paradoxical Dance of the Seven Veils, like a modern-day Salome still demanding the sacrifice of those captivated by her song and her figure.
