Cutscenes give usually badass heroes a chance to kick back and make really dumb mistakes! Here are seven such instances. Can you think of any more? Shout in the comments if so, and enjoy!

The opposite of this can also be annoying, where a hero is suddenly so badass in a cutscene that you're just, "why can't you do this during actual gameplay!?" Jack from Mass Effect two easily destroying giant supermechs is one example.

Every Assassin’s Creed game. There is always at least one fight per game where you are winning, then a cut scene interrupts where you suddenly stop attacking, the baddie gets the upper hand, and you lose the fight because the game says so.

Ha, I would never do the mistakes heroes do in those cutscenes.
proceeds to walk into fire camp to see if there is fire damage and dies

what i hate even more than that, is when you fight a boss, and you are destroying him, but just before you have finished him. the story script jumps in and MAKES you lose.
just so they can re-use the boss later on.

If you fail the mass effect suicide mission in the worst possible way, it's basically all your highly skilled friends making basic blunders. Heartbreaking but kinda hilarious.

I'd like to bring up SO MANY Mass Effect cutscenes where Shepard, the best solider in the galaxy, forgets how to shoot straight:

-Misses a scientist trying to destroy an asteroid so the reapers can arrive FROM 5 METRES.

-Misses Kai Leng as he slowly runs away.

-Sits calmly in a car that Leng is running around on top of.

-Hides from a gunship that is identical to thousands he/she shot down.

You guys should make a video where the hero does some cool move in a cutscene or something and then when you get to control them, you suck and have none of the moves they did.
