I keep everything on accounting graph paper..problem is prices are going up and the amount of food I can purchase keeps going down..can only afford one meal a day...rent goes up..Medicare annual payments go up...no more green stamps...no room for a garden or herb pots... Have never used credit cards...unable to do 25% for rent..the American citizen is being squeezed..no more layaway..everyone I know shops at Goodwill..material is more expensive than Amazon clothes..Joanne Fabric closed...I do sew to repair clothes...use crock pot... Can't afford meat..eat beans..it's a totally different world today....our lives are changing not for the best..and yes I know where every amount of my monthly social security check goes

I do know exactly where every penny goes, and I keep a very detailed ledger, because my Mom always did, and in 1985 my 9th grade 'General Business' teacher taught us these wonderful tips😊 I only wish that we still had those awesome S&P stamp programs.
