Wow! I had a note on my computer to only use a "community rated plan" that I heard from someone else. Thank you for giving more info. Medicare is so much more expensive than my work plans. It's going to be a rude awakening, that's for sure!

Wow. Absolutely stellar summary. About 5 years ago, after experiencing two local agents who were not competent, I decided to just do this myself using many different resources (including reading way too many SERRF filings). It took a while, but I got there. Now, no regrets. But the 5 things you mentioned were exactly why my learning curve took so darn long. I have heard all 5 repeated by most consumers I talked to, and some by the agents. For whatever it might be worth, this video is exactly what I found to be accurate.
