  I’m always surprised to hear people say they don’t eat bass. I’m 67 and have been catching and eating them my entire life.

  18” limit where I live but I’ve been eating bass out of ponds my whole life. Good groceries for sure.

  As a fishing guide in the Polk, St. Croix and Pierce county area I encourage so many of my clients to keep bass under 18inches. If you knock them on the head and put them on ice they are just as tasty as any walleye. I also encourage the taking of white bass, small sheepshead, and yes even large bullheads. It's all about getting them cool right away and cleaning them when you get home.

  I eat bass all the time. The conservation dept encourages the harvest of small bass in lakes I fish. 12 inch bass are absolutely delicous.

  Im from Louisiana and been eating bass most of my life and never bleed them out and bass never taste strong or muddy ,! Always great eating

  I grew up eating almost every bass we caught, in the 80's it changed. And quit cornmeal and switched to beer batter!

  We ate bass growing up in the 70’s. I mainly stopped keeping them when catch and release became the norm. But as with anything, if they are over-populated in a body of water the best practice is to cull a few to help get things back in balance.

  The bass in cold water lakes have better texture and taste than those in shallow water warmer lakes.

  I&apos;ve never eaten any Bass during the warm months but I&apos;ve kept a few in the 12-15&quot; range caught through the ice. Breaded and fried they tasted like any other panfish.<br>Hyped the video for ya!
