  This may be my favorite video of yours. I’m so tired of influencers who create unrealistic spaces. There’s one right now who has been posting 2 to 3 videos a day, every single day, for the last month with new Fall decor. It’s so overwhelming. How many people buy new sofas, new consoles, new lamps, new duvets, new dishes, new pillows, etc. for every season?! It’s gotten ridiculous.

  This is one of Nick’s videos that shows what good human he is. &nbsp;He did another a while back on the ethics if shopping on sites like Tumi. &nbsp;I was originally drawn to the channel because I really like Nick’s taste. &nbsp;Love the sass and humor, too. &nbsp; But I really admire his values. &nbsp;That’s why I’m a fan. &nbsp;Lovely video, Nick.

  My sister walked into my temporary apartment this week and said “It’s definitely your home!” with forced energy. My brother walked in a couple minutes behind her and exclaimed “Oh my god, it’s so warm and cozy and cool and funky and I love seeing all your vintage pieces out! Wow!”. I laughed inwardly pretty hard. Your home won’t please everyone, so you might as well simply focus on pleasing yourself. ❤

  1. Of the myriad things that social media has done badly, unrealistic standards in every area of life are right up there. My style did not really come until I retired at 62. The kids are the lights of my life but more people =more mess. They’re grown and gone plus the stress of teaching is over. NOW our home is calm and simple. Thank you for acknowledging life stages. <br>2. I loved seeing the flashbacks to Young Nick. I’m a 77yo woman in the US, so our paths will never cross, but I have to<br> say you’ve gotten hotter over these few years. ❤
