I have two thoughts about "Normal."<br>1) Never trust a person who says that they're "normal."<br>2) What is normal to one person can be abnormal to somebody else.

Communication styles in the UK and the USA differ heavily on the directness scale. The US relies on low-context, explicit, and assertive expression, while the UK leans toward high-context communication framed by understatement, politeness, and irony.<br>It's no wonder there is a shock between them.

We DO NOT have carpets in the bathroom (I have no carpets at all in my house). We do have tumble dryers but use them very little as outside on the line is better for the clothes, your wallet and the environment (My tumble dryer is in my garage as I hardly use it so not needed in the house)
