THE FUNNEST OF FUN FACTS: Bad was ALMOST a duet with PRINCE. HERE'S WHY IT WASN'T: The first line is "Your butt is mine" and prince's response to that was, and I quote "Who's gonna sing that to who..? Cause you ain't singing that to me, and I SURE as heeell ain't singing that to you"

To this day I couldn't imagine what a Michael Jackson and Prince COLLAB would inflict on the world. I think that was our one chance at the second coming of Jesus😭

Michael Jackson didn’t bleach his skin. He had a condition called vitiligo which destroys skin pigment. This was confirmed by his autopsy and medical records.

Vitiligo is genetic, but it can be triggered by ptsd and extreme stress which doctors believe is what happened to Michael. His vitiligo began in late 1983 while filming the video of “say say say. “- A small spot he could easily cover with clothes or makeup. It spread out of control in 1985 after he suffered severe burns shooting a Pepsi commercial. He was ashamed of it and covered it with makeup to appear black in the mid 80s, but the stress of the burn injury and his own struggles with ptsd caused almost his entire body to lose pigment by the late 80s. He could no longer cover his whole body with dark makeup and instead covered what was left of the unaffected parts with white makeup to match.

At the time of his death, he was almost completely white. At 24 he was diagnosed with Lupus which is also a rare skin condition. It caused a butterfly rash on his cheeks in the thriller era.

He did not publicly disclose his vitiligo which is why people assumed he bleached his skin. There is no cure. It caused a lot of psychological distress which made it even worse as vitiligo is heavily correlated with stress and anxiety.
