  It is difficult to describe Her Majesty. Most of us never met her, and indeed never would. Yet when she left us, it felt like we had lost a dear friend, a guiding light and and a trusted, wise and calming influence. She was, is and will always be........The Queen.

  Hard to believe it's almost been 4 years already. Where has the time gone! I still have my union jack flag hung up on my bedroom wall from the day she died. R.I.P Queen

  As an American, I have loved and admired Queen Elizabeth my whole life. &nbsp;When the announcement came that she was under doctor&apos;s care and her family was flying to her I knew she would not be with us much longer but never expected it to be just a few more hours.

  i cried while i was watching her funeral, she had always been there as our caring and loving monarch. watching this now has me in tears yet again. i dont think there will ever be another monarch as revered and beloved as Queen Elizabeth II

  I was sitting at an urgent care facility, getting my knee looked at, then the word came in that the Queen had passed. All of us, patients, doctors, nurses, etc., all offered a moment of silence for her.

  My grandmother was given an award by the queen for services to her community. Her death occurred two years before the queen, just months after my grandfather passed, they were of the same generation. I wrote to the queen to thank her for the award, because it meant a lot to her, ans the queen wrote back. I&apos;ve still got the letter today.
