  Honestly Henry VIII being left forgotten and abandoned in Windsor while his unwanted daughters got the grand tombs was probably the best dose of karma that ever could have happened.

  I can’t imagine Queen Anne, being pregnant SEVENTEEN times, and losing all of them. 💔 not even one survived. That’s a heartache no one should ever know.

  I’m suprised Queen Elizabeth II didn’t have a memorial statue designed . She was a remarkable queen remembered forever

  I went to Windsor a few months after the Queen's funeral, and managed to file past her and Phillip's tomb. It was incredibly emotional. I was suprised at how I felt.

  I don't know why, but hearing that Princess Margaret chose to be cremated just to be buried with her father has me bawling. 😭 I think it just has to be their whole story all put together. No matter how sad I am to know that Queen Elizabeth has passed, I'm so happy to know that the 5 of them are all back together again ❤

  I am the only one who finds it so ironic that Henry 8th wanted lavish tomb with life sized statues, but literally the son he wanted the most denied him that because of religion Henry made himself head of in hopes to concieve so desired son? That was pure karma on Henry for all the suffering he inflicted on others

  I'm sorry, but Balmoral was always her favorite home. Her mother was Scottish. She had been quoted as saying she wanted to die there. As happened.

  I'm going to give my vote to George V and Queen Mary for the nicest memorial tombs.  They are tastefully done, the likenesses are good, and visitors hundreds of years from now can have no doubt about who they are or what they looked like during their reign.  If only all of history was preserved so well.  I do hope King Charles sees to it that a flattering but accurate statue of his mother's likeness is erected in some appropriate place to honor her memory.

  As morbid as this was, This was a very interesting video. I always wondered who else was buried in St. George's chapel at Windsor Castle. It might be decadent, but the royals of the world sure know how to go out in style.
