old toothbrush to clean the chain. Or, use your main toothbrush: clean your teeth, clean the chain :)

Spokes inside seatpost, just cut some foam so those spokes stay in place and don't rattle. Also some spare bolts for anything that can get loose. Though I would say for super long trips you want to regularly go trough all the bolts, even spokes and tighten them. Preferably with torque tool like Topeak Ratchet Rocket Lite NTX+ and ofc small spoke tool. And like he said, pliers/multitool is great. But all you really need is something like Gerber dime. It's keychain multitool, super small but still usable. I would also take small brush to clean drivetrain, cloth, sandpaper for renewing break pad.
And for really long trips, spare chain and chain checker. You can alternate chains to extend life of your drivetrain. And this is component that WILL wear out. If you know you are doing long trip you know it will eventually wear out. If you are going to some relatively remote place you might as well bring chain with you if you use something like 12 speed.

I wrap gorilla tape around my pump.
Also, even though I don’t know how to replace a spoke, I still carry it. If I can find a bike shop, at least I already have the correct length spokes

6 bolt brake rotors use the same threads as spd cleats. I always replace one bolt on each rotor with an spd bolt. It has saved rides.

Great video! Something to think about too is that tubolito tubes need their own tubolito patch kits.

This was so good. You should do this for your big adventures. Maybe do a before and after with what you would do differently with your choices after the ride. And, you should add the tip jar to all of your videos.

Nice review - I also add a spare bottle cage bolt and spare bolts for my rack.

Tyre glider in addition to a lever — so so good for getting tires back on . Also consider a beefy reusable zip tie - also helps with getting tires on if you cinch it up to stop the first section pinging back out of the rim

Very good! I always keep 30-50cm of duck tape wrapped onto my pump.

Cassette locking removal tool - Unior makes a small one so you can remove lockring for cassette and brake rotors so you can replace spokes.
