Many years that I've been into bikes, and I've not been to this event.. it looks so good! I love Charley's enthusiasm for bikes.

So watching ep 1 of long way round, again... and I noticed your quote that" so when we're sitting at 60 years old with our children, we can have a bit of a giggle at ourselves going around the world"

Well, you're 60. Are you giggling? 😊
You look great. Betcha you have way more than 20 summers. And thanks for being the inspiration for us riding. You're awesome.

The Long Way series made me a huge fan of Charley's. So happy to see him thrive and doing what he loves and doing it well! Great video!

Nothing like a bunch of old mates and bikes. I just did 2000 miles on a '73 R75/5 a few weeks ago. It was great. So happy to see this one in action again.

I really enjoyed the film and lovely to hear you remembering TT racer David Jefferies. Whilst I never met David, I met Tony several times and once stayed at his house in Shipley, after picking a new GS in April 2021. Our acquaintance came about via a mutual who had been friends with Tony for over 60 years. He drove us into Bradford for a curry and he and I sat in his kitchen discussing his motorcycle racing and business career until the early hours. Tony Jefferies was a very stoical, driven, interesting and lovely man 🙏

Great to see the BMW again, and to see you having fun on a bike. Aah, Charley, that's the good stuff.

Great to see Shelsley again. I’ve never ridden a motorbike up it but have taken modern Morgan Three wheelers up as well as a number of Morgan cars. It’s got a wonderful feel of history about it, especially the pit areas. I miss it.
