  Thank you for this video. The data absolutely points to the Isrealite culture as being originally Canaanite. The archeologist Eric Kline wrote a great book about the Bronze Age collapse. Also, people should look into the Ugaritic texts that were found, further linking the Isrealites to the land of Canaan.

  Israeli clans probably asserted themselves in the 1150s BC once Egyptian occupation ended.The Apiru were a mercenary class and some were Israelites like David but not all.There might have been at least 3 Exoduses,the final one when Rameses 3rds father expelled Asiatics who may have wandered around north Arabia until the 1140s BC and then went north into the hill country once Egyptian officials and garrisons departed.

  The inference drawn from the hieroglyphic evidence is suspect and hilarious. That Israel was described as a people not particularly a city even seems to support the Biblical narrative of the people of Israel migrating from Egypt into the land of Canaan. Israelites have always been about their identity, being direct descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Of course, there were other descendants of Abraham and other descendants of Isaac through Esau. But the Israelites were descendants of the children of Jacob. So they were a people not a city. The inference drawn from the absence of pig bones is also funny. If the Israelites were people that just decided to be separate from other Canaanites, what is more plausible, a direct religious injunction not to eat pig or &apos;let&apos;s just stop eating pigs to distinguish ourselves from others&apos;? The latter is such a nonsensical interpretation of the absence of pig bones; it&apos;s almost as if the interpreter was fishing so bad to avoid the biblical narrative as to why Israelites didn&apos;t eat pigs.   The myth of Moses could very well have originated in knowledge of the myth of Sargon of a card and other similar miraculous or origin stories, which depend on. Regarding Moses, it seems rather absurd that a pharaoh would be killing all of.a specific ethnic group yet allow his daughter to adapt a child from that group and make him his air. But the most absurd part of that story to me has always been that Moses had to flee Egypt because he killed a Hebrew slave. As a recognized son of pharaoh, or indeed any member of the mobility, he would not have had to flee for his life for the death of a slave.
