  At my age even with strong hearing Ive given up on trying to discern ultra micro sonic differences in accessories so with isolation feet color,size and looks are my reasons of choosing. I wish I had the mental drive left in my tank for A/B testing stuff like this. I have a set of the second from left footers and chose them because they came in a pinkish copper color which they called gold. Isolation feet are a fun little 'scratch' for when you get that audiophile itch to buy something.

  For the STR-11 (tube preamp of the CARY AE-1) I have bought the Maglev (magnet levitation) - feet. Not cheap &nbsp;- around 140€ - but makes a dramatic improvement! The sound is much more detailed and has more depth. I have also bought 4 feet with springs (about 20€). In a couple of days, a friend will come around and we will compare both types of feet. <br><br>On the other hand, a Transaudio T9.4 power amplifier is located on the lowest board of a finite pagode rack. The rack has ceraball feet, spikes horizontally for both the frames and additional spikes for the boards. The sound of the power amp showed very reduced deep bass. The damping of the rack was too much for the Transaudio. I have modified the setup for the board where the power amplifier is placed. I put wooden blocks below those board so that it has direct contact with the ground floor and has no mechanical contact with the rack anymore. The very deep bass is back.

  I got 8 Soundcare M8 superspikes for €100 delivered, great isolation and easy for moving my Fyne Audio F501S.

  I&apos;d like to see a video comparing the ball or spike isolation approach vs the compliant squidgy approach. Isoaccoustics GAIA type. (From Aliexpress because of the price)

  They’re pretty! For tube devices and turntables, otherwise, just for looks. But, they look nice.

  I wonder what the weight rating is on the Ultras? Those would save me a ton of money over the IsoAcoustics if they work well and can hold my speakers.

  You didn’t say any about the sound. 2 I looked some magnetics I think maybe it’s better tan balls.
