  When RDJ says he doesn't drop character till he does the DVD commentary is kind of a little easter egg, because he actually does do the DVD commentary still in his character

  Lance at the Academy Awards is actually Lance Bass from the NSYNC.  My favorite part was Tom Cruise dancing through the end credits.

  Movie trivia:<br>Ben Stiller didn&apos;t know if he could get Tom Cruise as he was peeking hard at the time. <br>He still called, Tom came in, read the script and looked at him stone cold and sighed, then said: I will do it if you give me dance scenes...<br>Stiller was baffled he just said: Sure... You can have whatever you want...

  It’s called the Wilhelm Scream that scream you keep hearing. Most directors and editors always try and squeeze it into every film as a kind of in-joke.

  Ben Stiller developed the concept for Tropic Thunder whilst filming the Steven Spielberg epic The Empire of The Sun; which featured a very young Christian Bale &amp; is based on JG Ballard’s semi-autobiographical novel of the same name.<br><br>Tom Cruise had a lot of input into his character &amp; pushed for him to have really big hands 😂😂😂
