  Too many singers today think that just belting, being loud, doing runs the whole song is selling the song. No, the quietness, the strength, the storytelling, the drawing you in to listen to every word. That is the power.

  Have you noticed how so many &apos;old time&apos; singers just stand and sing, letting the song and the voice do the work. And compare how modestly the women dressed in those days compared with today&apos;s singers. <br>This is such a beautiful song.

  Patsy Cline broke everyone’s heart when she died in a plane crash in her early 30s. She was a mentor and best friend to a very young Loretta Lynn.

  Written by Willie Nelson. &nbsp; Amazing. &nbsp;Notice that the words of the song come after the music plays. &nbsp;(there is a slight delay when she sings the words and the &nbsp;musicians &nbsp;playing the melody) &nbsp; That is how wrote Wille wrote the song &nbsp;and sang it himself. &nbsp; She died in 1963, 18 months after the song hit the charts, in a small airplane crash.

  At 13, Patsy was hospitalized with a throat infection and rheumatic fever. &nbsp;She said after she recovered she had this booming voice.<br>1973, she was the first female solo artist inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.<br>On the night Patsy premiered &quot;Crazy&quot; at the Grand Ole Opry, she recieved three standing ovations.

  Patsy died in a plane crash coming home from a charity concert in 1963 at the ripe old age of 30. She had the purest voice country music has ever known, but, as they say, only the good die young. Amazingly, she survived an automobile accident in 1961 that almost killed her and kept her hospitalized for over a month. Her career was short but her legacy is forever.
