  For Coppola to sit on these deleted scenes is not the act of a friend. If he has this footage, he must share it, or let others see it. Certainly, he can charge extra on Netflix for such access, after all, we are not communists ...

  I wish no scenes were deleted; I would gladly watch The Godfather over and over again. The length of the movie does not bore me whatsoever.

  This is why The Godfather Epic is a must have. It's seven hours long but well worth it imho.

  Another act of revenge cut from Theatrical but shown in SAGA was Micheal's vengeance upon Fabrizio, his bodyguard, whose bomb missed Micheal but killed Appolonia. The scene shows Fabrizio leaving his Buffalo pizzaria, getting in his car, and the car blowing up. While I get the scene didnt involve Vito, and thus was beyond the scope of the video, its still worth noting.

  I have an audio copy of the original book 'The Godfather.' It has one major difference from all the films. In the book after Michael kills the 5 family leaders he and Kay retire to Vegas to live in peace ever after. No sequels. Great book.

  I believe these deleted scenes are used in the director&apos;s cut which places the trilogy in chronical order. <br>Personally, I think the chronical order in this story, make The Godfather a superior story. &nbsp;It&apos;s worth seeing.

  I had the trilogy box set which had those extra scenes, one of the best films (all 3) I’ve ever seen.

  Part of me wishes that these scenes had been included on the original release. Another part was content not knowing that Vito had it in him to brutally murder men the way he did. It&apos;s one thing to shoot someone or even to shove a knife into the chest of the man who ordered his family killed; it&apos;s another to cut someone&apos;s throat or to beat them with an oar. That turns him into a darker character than someone who got involved in organized crime because he lacked other options.
