I haven’t been since the mid seventies. I seem to remember you didn’t have to pay to go in, you bought strips of  six, ten or twenty tickets , although some rides needed more than one ticket.

Loving this series. I’ve been to the Pleasure Beach many, many times but never considered it’s rich history before now. Both nostalgic and enlightening - can’t wait for episode 3 👍

I can still remember summer days there .watching the film  every sound brought back so many memories I could almost smell the candy floss and hotdogs as I once did , summer days you never wanted to end... the old go-kart track at the front was brilliant ,2 tracks 1 for adults and 1 for kids ,with Honda engines.... we got to know the ride operators and they would let us on the karts for free at the end of the day sometimes .

The big dipper is my 2nd favorite, my first is the Grand National! The drop on both is so terrifying but amazing!

I went to school half a mile from the Pleasure Beach in the 80s and 90s and this video brought back great memories as well as great insight into the history. Really looking forward to part 3. Great work and kudos also to The Pleasure Beach themselves for giving you the access and to allow you to share the amazing history of this iconic British institution. Fabulous.
