Now that is a long John boat.<br>I am in Oregon now taking care of my 91 year old mother with dementia.<br>During my time here I have built a 19-foot Dory and a 30-foot 6" open jet boat for taking back home to Alaska.<br>The jet boat is at this time powered by a 1969 Chevy Big Block 402 with a max Hp of 500 Hp.<br>I am now gathering parts to go to a Chevy BB 496 with a goal of 700 Hp for the jet boat .<br>I miss home in Alaska

I have a 13.500-pound pull winch on a plate for a receiver hitch mount on the transom of the jet boat for when stuck on shallows and to winch moose to the boat.<br>It does take a 220-amp alternator to keep the battery charged
