  I really don't want a "different version" of Destiny. I don't want smaller games, I want a D3 or a continuation of D2. Destiny is Destiny BECAUSE it is unique in it's own way.

  In my opinion Sony shutting down Destiny was a way to clean house, cut costs and see where the studio was. If they can destiny then they can lay off a lot of people and clean management all at the same time, then in my opinion they wanted to see what the marathon team could do and if they could make a turnaround they would leave Destiny dead but if not then they would bring it back.

  It’s funny how players were asking for a PVE mode in the beginning of Marathon, but the devs ignored them completely. It’s only when the studio is hurting for cash, that’s when they decide to add a PVE mode.

  Because they realized marathurd wasn&apos;t gonna make them any money, so it was either put Bungie back to work on Destiny or shut them down and lose all their money.

No game should ever cost that much fkin&apos; money. There&apos;s a reason why the Asian game industry (especially Japan) has been able to avoid mass layoffs, overblown budgets, and only paying upper management around $3-5 million instead of like $30 million + like in the U.S.
