  Deltarune could end with Asriel visibly showing up in hometown and Jaru would just say this is obvious evidence that Asriel is a collective hallucination created by grief. Honestly, I respect the creativity

Though I believe &quot;breathing&quot; in this context is more like how a Fire can &quot;breathe&quot;, rather than showing something to be alive.

  Imagine thinking the knight being Rudy wouldn&apos;t make the Flowery fight recontextualized. It&apos;s literally the college roommate version of Rudy that Asgore remembers before he got sick and before they got married. The knight is killing an illusion of his idealized self.

Both the routes a main romantic relationship in the middle. The normal route has Susie and Noelle, but in the weird route it gets contrasted with this weird toxic relationship.
