  It's astounding how this band has changed its sound over the course of the years, but has still managed to retain the uniqueness it brought in their debut. We can spend our lifetimes debating the old versus the new, but the truth of the matter is: they were fucking great back then, and they're fucking great right now.

  my wife passed away in 2016.. I've been so lonely since then & can't find my way back to happiness without her.. I heard this song today & I realized that there's so many things were left unsaid. I wish the WALLS had come down before her passing. I took her for granted..I miss you Bonnie. Today ,tomorrow & forever.

  The lyrics, the pain in his voice, the pain in his eyes  and his facial expressions. This song breaks my heart every time. Love them. Who else cries listening to this?

  I lost my mother when I was 4, I lost my father in his early 60's.My youngest son died at 7 months from SIDS and my oldest son was killed a car accident at 19. My wife of 46 years passed away. I learned at an early age to never build walls. You never know when you'll see someone for the last time

  The last song my dad listen to before he passed.  Been nearly 3 years.  Its Christmas so i played it and had a drink for him. Maybe gone but never forgotten. Here's to you dad. Love you with all my heart. I'll keep moving forward and try to work my way through this life. Won't ever be the same without your guidance. But you   taught me well. So ill do my best to pass it on and carry your ever glowing light. Miss you big man every day. Never be a day when your not in my thoughts. Thanks for every day of being my dad xx

  I needed this band in my twenties - I&apos;m 50 and I listen to this with a gentler heart, a wiser head and a tougher skin - but because of music I’m choosing to travel into my elderhood without bitterness. <br><br>I’ve had the pleasure of five decades of great music alive. <br><br>Being born in the 60’s means I also enjoyed my mother and fathers music from the 50’s and 60’s. I’m nostalgic in composing my playlists but I’m youthful in my continued exploration and experimentation in my musical flavours on the menu in the 21st century. I work with youth and I enjoy their amazing breadth and depth of choices available to them from the four corners of the worlds musical horizons. <br><br>In the wealth of my extensive musical collection I will treasure this song and this band as one of the best ... Blessings all who are healing from the broken stuff of life with love and levity.   I heard this song about 1.5yrs ago in a diner right after my g/f of 9 years abandoning our son and I. I remember sitting in that diner feeling so utterly alone. A lot has changed since this feeling of solitude. I took my son and have full custody of him. He and I are better off without his mom. I met someone else since then and couldn&apos;t be happier. I was laying in bed last night and remembered that moment at the diner. I had to listen to this song again. It reminds of of some bad times but I cannot help but look back and reflect. I am smiling today.

  People talking about the meaning of the song, to me it sounds like, look I&apos;ve let my walls down, I&apos;ve let you in &amp; you hurt me, what the hell am I supposed to do now?<br>This gave me goosebumps ❤️
