  The amount of people complaining about it not being from scratch gravy, not having pie, not having mashed potatoes, etc. She's giving real options for people to feed their families on a budget for Thanksgiving. No Judgement. All great ideas. I'm going to try the dump cake for sure.

  Nicole ha shown a couple of different Thanksgiving dinners that have mashed potatoes and gravy and pumpkin pie.  She also said you could add anything else and not do the appetizer and drink.  So why everyone's comment about what she doesn't have.  She is so great at making things simple and giving step by step instructions.  A beginner could make this meal.  Good job Nicole.

  I am alone so I buy a rotisserie chicken, warm it up in the oven to maximize crispiness and drippings, make my dressing, sometimes using a box mix and add egg, celery & onion and whatever spices I think it needs, gotta have deviled eggs, Jiffy corn casserole, mashed potatoes (sometimes ready in grocery aisle), gravy, sweet potatoes, canned cranberry sauce, ambrosia salad, canned biscuits (standing on side baked in a loaf pan) that taste like bread and pumpkin pie, a 2x a year treat.  I start stocking up on staples and canned goods in September, buying balance of fresh dairy, veggies and eggs close to the day.  Lots of leftovers to feed me over the next few days and worth the relatively small effort cause I prepare whatever I can days before.

  First, crazy Nicole how much and how fast you prepare and cook so many things.  And yes I know it’s edited, etc. etc., still quite a feat.  Second, so cool and unabashedly creative using budget friendly and convenience food options without judgement or shame.  The point of this video was budget friendly.  I’m sure many folks at this time in this economy will appreciate…

  I am very glad that you mentioned Aldi.  On their website, they list a collection of ingredients/products that could feed10 people for $40 for Thanksgiving. If I were cooking for a group (and I'm not), I might swap a few things, but it is a great list to start an affordable celebration.  I really enjoyed watching this video and how thoughtful it was about suggesting practical, affordable, and festive options.  🧡

  I love all your cooking ideas but watching this on Thanksgiving and the other one just makes me at ease. I'm 75 in Dec. and don't want to cook much. We will go to my daughter's but I fix some dishes also. Watching you means I might make a few dishes to leave at home to have leftovers. Thank you

  One of our Thanksgiving traditions is a cranberry salsa.  Basically, you make your favorite pico de gallo recipe and replace tomatoes with whole berry cranberry sauce.  It is life changing on a turkey sandwich the next day or on tortilla chips any time

  Very nice. Thank you. A lot of people are budget challenged in these trying times. This can really help them. And the rest of us who are not budget challenged....it all looks amazing. <br>I like the stuffing/dressing, very easy to make.<br>And frankly i think that could serve 12 people pretty easy.
