  Then as time past (around 1998 forward), Harley Davidson decided to fuck up their quality reputation by adding plastics and cheap parts to the V-Twin and its engine internals, trim body parts. Cheap molded metals and Plated shiny stuff as to mimic real chrome.... Which flakes if it gets too hot or scratched...if not both.. <br>Even the Exhaust System are steel plated a thin chrome layer.<br><br>I&apos;m not saying the engine and other metals use to be solid Chrome... Just a super thick layer that would last beyond 2 years. No Engine Car, truck, lawnmower, etc should ever include any plastic part for the engine. Even metal wears on an engine... but it is made to last... (Today&apos;s crap is purposefully made (not to last)....to fail and break as soon as the warranty exspires)!<br><br>Just like pissing on Harley Davidson legacy and Grave.

  They basically just naming each engine series an yada yada yada. What bullshit. Doeant say which motor was best but i have say its a toss up between the knuckle an the evo both marvels of design for their respective eras
