  I was literally watching a different video where the artist was working on a portrait Alla Prima...and then in the middle of the video he mentioned it took about 10 hours to complete. No explanation, no obvious way to tell when one session ended and another started. The whole video looked like it was one session compressed into 45 minute video. And then your video popped up in my feed. :-)  Thank you for clarifying the process that so many artists use, yet so few explain as well as you do.

  Always find it helps to have two or more mirrors handy. You would be amazed the difference it makes to seeing distortions and necessary corrections when the image and model is reversed.
