Still fugly...the bike so ugly ,it got me a 28day ban on Facebook! Needs a 19" front wheel, that might improve the aesthetics of it?

Exchanged the 1000 for the 1100 SE and what an improvement of the engine. Worth the change. The 1000 SE is still a great bike to ride though!

I actually appreciate that the bike's frame and looks are largely the same. This means that accessories such as luggage, lighting, etc for the 1000 are likely to work with the 1100. If you doubt this advantage, go ask the BMW owners where their panniers are for the 1300 GS and GSA.

My Spanish interpretation of what the cyclists were saying as they rode passed was, 'That's a good looking motorbike'. Confirms the review.

I’d like to see a side by side comparison between this & the revised 2025 Honda NT1100.

I have a 2019 se GT version and fits my needs and my riding style, The only thing I can say is in fairly strong winds the front end is a sail , the position of the GPS I moved to be hind the screen above the dash with a kit from SW- Motech, as well as a tank ring for a tank bag, and belly pan / bash plate. That's it the bike has not missed a beat when two up with luggage or my daily commute to my work. Thank you for the review of the new model, was very informative. It's a shame the rumours of a H2 version of the versys were duds.
