  I had an experience at Harrison Lake at the mouth of Bear Creek in '87 Labor Day weekend. Something very large went up the opposite side of the creek bed, early in the morning. There was a bunch of sandy dirt disturbed where we saw it happen. Could not make out any prints tho. We had that "feeling" you mentioned, the night before. We think it was watching us for awhile. We must've caught it off guard when we went down to the creek to get water. Harrison Lake is crazy active. I grew up in Abbotsford so we went there a lot and I heard plenty of stories.

  I had a sighting near Bear Creek on the lake. We were camping/partying Labor Day weekend in 1987. Early morning walked down to the break bed watching where I was stepping and all of a sudden I saw something on the opposite side go charging up the bank and into the bushes. It looked like a large calf and foot disappearing behind the tree. I could hear it running away. But it wasn’t nearly as loud as you would imagine. I could really only hear it take about 5 steps. All my hackles were up, chicken skin and a sense that I had to run fast. There was no way my body was going to let my mind chase after it. Later that afternoon a bunch of us walked over to where it was. You could see where something moved a lot of sandy dirt to get up the bank but after that there were no signs of anything else. Crazy.

  There is something out there. I was 15 (50 years ago) when I had this weird feeling come over me.I am deep in the woods fishing this stream, walking it for miles. I had no fear of bears or any other critter in the woods. I was standing at this one beautiful hole. I heard a few things across the creek when it just hit me like a ton of bricks. Fear so intense I had started running for my life. I had seen nothing at all. I ran for a short time, and it was gone. I didn't even think anything about it until I started watching things about Bigfoot. It is still fresh in my memory, like it happened last week. I had never experienced anything like it ever again. I have no problem believing that Bigfoot is out there.

  I'm glad you consulted with Jason Zakrisson on this matter.  I've been on a couple bigfoot expeditions with Jason in that same part of British Columbia.  Jason is the kind of guy you want to go 'squatching with.  Careful, skeptical, and thorough.  He doesn't exclaim "That was a sasquatch!" every time he hears a sound in the woods.

  Holy Moly I was at Harrison hot springs last Saturday. I was thinking about Bigfoot and reminiscing about when my friends and I camp there and I couldn't stop talking about how this was Bigfoot country

  As a local in the near by city here are some things to keep in mind,if you hear something dont move, when the sun goes down dont look in to the trees,when you set a fire be sure to keep it going for 25 minutes ,if you hear and see something just run.
