A slightly different video today as we continue our Lost Expeditions series! We'd love to hear what you think of this format. Next up, we'll be returning to our usual "Who Were the..." series with a documentary exploring an ancient nomadic people…

One question: do you reckon Alexander the Great was history’s greatest military commander, or is someone else more deserving of that title?

Can you do Xenophon and ten thousand?? You would make an amazing narrator for that story!!

This channel is so underrated. The quality of your videos is amazing, I hope you keep growing because you deserve a million subs at least. Your content is always top notch but this is one of my favorite videos that you've made. Alexander is such a fascinating person, he left behind such an incredible legacy that carries on to this day. No doubt one of the most incredible leaders who has ever lived.

At around 8:07 I misspeak and say that the desert stretched for 5-6,000 miles - I misspoke here, it should of course be 5-600 miles!

Your channel has been an immensely rich resource for me, and ironically the past 2 videos you've put out have coincided with my history research. I just finished learning about Alexander and his conquests, so this video will be a treat! Appreciate all the hard work and effort you put into these vids. Also I love your thumbnails, I'm able to easily identify your videos from others and they catch the eye. Cheers!

Egos always get a lot of people killed. I think this is a story about lack of respect and awareness, and a complete focus on victory through ego
