🎣 The Original Podcast – nuwe episodes elke Woensdag. This week we sit down with Johann Beukes once again after he successfully defended his title and was crowned Distance Casting Champion! But this episode isn’t only about casting as far as possible. Johann also recently competed at the Method Feeder SA Championships, before returning to papgooi fishing at the Nyl just two weeks later. We chat about the differences between the two disciplines, what he learnt from method feeder fishing, and how those lessons can be applied to conventional papgooi. One of the biggest surprises came during the six sessions at the Nyl, where Johann recalls catching some of his big carp only around 7 metres from the bank — a great reminder that the fish aren’t always as far away as we think. We talk distance casting, method feeder, papgooi, reading the water and adapting your approach to what is happening in front of you. 🎣 The Original Podcast – new episodes every Wednesday. ___________________________________________________________ Original Mutis - It's all about the quality Available at your favorite tackle shop or online.
