Robert Patrick physically trained so hard to make sure his breathing wasn’t visible while running or during action scenes. He’s the goat

5:00 Robert Patrick doesn't even blink when he fires that Beretta, he was trained specifically not to, to better sell his performance as a fearless killing machine.

My favorite tidbit on T2 is that Linda Hamilton worked out extensively to fill out her 'Sarah Conner training for the end of the world' role and Arnold didn't know about her physical transformation until they met up on set again and proceeded to geek out (because he was a bodybuilder) about all her gains. :P

I was watching some of the old, pre-EXP videos a couple of days ago, and coming back to this the first thing that hit me is just how much more fun the newer videos are to watch - it just looks like you're both having a smashing time nerding out over movie/game guns and it makes for a really enjoyable time.

Even the editing - if I'd have seen a 4-year-old 'expert reacts' video and someone told me that one day it'd begin with world-renowned firearms historian Jonathan Ferguson provocatively patting the barrel of an M79... well I wouldn't have known what to think, but I'm sure as hell glad that it's happened now.

Credit to Robert Patrick for training himself not to blink while firing a gun, that’s really hard to do.

At least when someone is holding a mini gun in this movie it’s believable because it’s being held by a super strong cyborg,

15:03 “I’m a serious academic”. And a geek, a gamer and movie lover, and just general all round good, fun-loving guy. And that is why we like Jonathan. He is a serious academic AND one of us.

In addition to the insane physical regimen that people have mentioned, Robert Patrick trained himself to convincingly fire one -handed, smoothly reload without looking and, perhaps most impressive, fire a gun without blinking unconsciously. All of it was to look more like a robot built to kill and boy did it pay off.

Jonathan Ferguson playing with the M79 barrel was a funny way to start the vid

6:32 So can Linda Hamilton's. She wasn't wearing proper ear protection for the scene in the elevator, and it caused her permanent hearing damage.
