  Socialization, my butt.  I can almost guarantee that he bought her Christmas and birthday gifts while they were dating but stopped after marriage. They never forget to buy the mistress a gift if they're cheating.

  I don’t buy the ”men weren’t taught blablabla". There are lots of things we are not taught and learn by ourselves watching others or just trying and figuring it out. It’s part of growing up, being/becoming adults.

  I’m convinced that women are the true providers. Ask a man how he will “provide” outside of finances and he’d have no answer.

  In addition to unpaid labor as homemakers and caring for children and elders, when we need retirement funds, we have no income or less income for those years so less or no social security fund. Who will take care of us when they've never really appreciated everything that we did for them?

  Not only did he not get her a gift, he made a video about everyone else, even the dog, receiving gifts and her receiving nothing, played dumb, and actually snickered about it. This ain&apos;t love, folks. He doesn&apos;t care about her beyond what she can do for him. As the saying goes, &quot;If they wanted to, they would.&quot;

  Christmas wouldn&apos;t exist without women. We all know this. Men just don&apos;t care about making big dinners, wrapping gifts, decorating, sending Xmas cards. Men just don&apos;t care and women need to stop caring so much too.

  When I was married and a SAHM of 5 to include newborn twins and a not quite 2 year old, my ex husband came home to a clean house, cooked food, children doing homework while I&apos;m teaching our 2 year old to read sight words and feeding infants CONSTANTLY and he would say what do you even contribute to this relationship? 😐 EXCUSE ME? Not to mention that I was in school full time online and bought most of the food and all of the kids clothes. He refused to acknowledge &nbsp;what i did to big himself up. So happy to be rid of him.
