  That woman who owes her dad 35k is pathetic. She never had an intention of paying him back. If he tried to get it back from her she would cut ties and tell everyone what a narcissist he is.

  I had a family member that I loaned them $3000 dollars to save their furniture from being sold at a storage place never paid me back the full amount and I found out she also stole my identity.This person is no longer in my life and I have no regrets of kicking her out of my life.

  I had to borrow $22,000 from my parents a decade ago. I hated it but there was no other way at the time. They never hounded me for it but I paid them back as quickly as I possibly could and had it all done in less than a year. People who don&apos;t pay back family or friends have absolutely no moral compass and should never be trusted again.

  I live by this rule, if you lend friends/family money, don’t expect the money back. Give what you are willing to lose. Saves a lot of trouble

  Money isn’t real until they foreclose on your house or your car is repossessed. Or you’re sued through the courts for your credit card debt.
