It’s a predators paradise there. That leopard has thick skin resting on the ground and standing up to a huge troop of baboons without running. That was smart.

Hyenas and Leopards are some of the toughest predators out there, man. I’ve seen a hyena get brutally mauled by a large lion and almost get its skull crushed (you could hear the bones pop), only to get up and walk away like nothing happened. I’ve also seen another hyena become the dominant member of its clan with broken rear legs, this thing was literally carrying itself, casually strolling by the cameraman without a care in the world on its front legs, holding its rear feet up up off the ground (unbelievable) and yet it somehow still convinced the others it was strong. I’ve seen countless videos of leopards fighting on their backs and successfully fending off and escaping 4 lionesses and a male lion, without even a scratch. Like BJJ masters and escape artists! Leaving the lions with only bloodied noses and battered egos. Blows my mind. Leopards also live in more places of all different climates (from frozen Siberian forests, to mountains in the Middle East) and environments all around the world compared to any other wild cat, big or small. With the way mankind has been, lions and tigers would go extinct due to human intervention, long before leopards would even become threatened.

The last shot gives the feeling of being face to face with the spirit of the jungle, it's impressive.

Gorgeous shot of the male lion! Beautiful. Cubs look well. I agree the Kambula pride has done incredibly well. Baby pups look in good care and busy lol

This male leopard is really not weak! Sleeping among hyenas and facing baboons without being calm, impressive strength!
