As a cosplayer myself, I wanna add one more item to the essentials list. Bring a mini handheld fan, electric or manual both are okay. These days, it gets humid!!

The paint and sip event sounds awesome. Definely planning on visiting from the West coast. Any good Latin food around? Lol also nice mug ☺️

Watching for my first NYCC 2026! I bought my ticket yesterday (September 6th for the people in the future) and the only sold out tickets were indeed Saturday and all days.

@13:20,usually in Jarvis center, they charge around 50 -75 percent more. But man, kinda excited for next year as it is my first time going to comic convention as my treat before transitioning to work

It sucks how most of the guests are in it for one day (Sat) and that day is always sold out. I wanted to meet and get an autograph from Jamie from Stranger Things. I'm choosing between Thursday or Sunday for other guests I want an autograph from. Does anyone know if I could buy a Jamie autograph to have it mailed to me since the tickets for his day sold out?

Actually SDCC is capped at 150k attendees because of the venue (525,000 SF vs. NYCC's 840,000 SF); what isn't measured is the 10s of thousands that attend in offsite activities which don't require a badge purchase. Estimates for SDCC offsite attendance is anywhere from 50k-100k each year. NYCC's offsite events are almost non-existent by comparison. (Also, for consideration, SDCC 150k tickets sell out in under an hour, the overflow that don't make it spill over into offsite activities. NYCC sell out takes days and weeks, even during sellout at 200k tickets, there's no spill over into offsite activities.)
