  4/2026...Fascinating!......I never knew I would find this subject so interesting. As a lover of &quot;old things&quot; built decades ago,....cars, machines, buildings, bridges, this story reenforces my belief that older things were better built. I&apos;m glad I live in a city that didn&apos;t tear down all their older buildings and homes. I&apos;m 72 and I am surprised by how many buildings have come and gone, just in my life time. Modern buildings built when I was just 10, in 1963,....many have already been demolished. <br><br>Most of the homes surrounding mine, were built in the 1890s,....solid as the day they were ready for human habitation. Mine is a few years younger, having been built in 1905,...and added to, as innovations became standard practice,.....like indoor plumbing, replacing lead &amp; iron pipes with copper ones, improvements to wiring, a better understanding of insulation. and more efficient furnaces.

  Look... I do this. In Spain. I learnt from one of the crashman that made the study your are talking about from the Museo de la cal de Morón: Luis Prieto, he is expert in lime. Thank you very very much, the video is absolutely magnific. There is no reason to use Portland. i dont use portland from 15 years ago, no plastics eather, in the house (yes we use plastic in all the usefull buckets). I am architect and builder. Best Regards.   Cinderblock with reinforced steel bars and cement are durable if you can seal the outside with this lime pottery clay plaster. The whole world builds steel warehouses with cinder block walls.

  So its the inly thing we should be using for bridges and any form of water movement. The fact we dont waste human energy and massive amounts of money on lesser products &nbsp;then continuous poisoning of our &nbsp;water and earth by plastics and crumbling infrastructure. &nbsp;Everything can be built better, practically lasting forever and naturally- not toxic but our governments and corporations want MONEY MONEY MONEY &nbsp;AND POWER for patented crappy products sold often through corruption- bribery etc etc
