Remember when YouTube allowed child abuse videos to show up in YouTube kids somehow with no consequences but when Muta covered it HE is the one that got penalized

It's depressing how nothing on Youtube ever EVER changes unless people openly complain about it on other platforms that aren't Youtube. Really shows you that they don't care about their creators unless public opinion is with them.

So glad that YouTube can’t escape this and everyone is covering it.

It’s REALLY not that hard for YouTube to be transparent and just tell us what we do wrong. Especially if there’s a supposed “human” reviewing your appeals.

Also, something I want to add.

Recently, YouTube made a survey for it's creators (That you can check on your YouTube Studio). A lot of these questions in the survey is related to the topic of this video in some way, and I noticed that the question being asked was somehow trying to manipulate you into thinking that YouTube is a good platform and is definitely a safe and cares about it's creators.

One specific question says "What is your reaction when you heard/read a bad comment about YouTube" (I wrote this by memory, so correct me if I'm wrong), and I kid you not one of the checklist litterally says "I would be mad and angrily comments on them".

Never have I been that angry when I filled a survey.

the only time I had an age gate appealed was about 2 years ago, when they still specified which guideline it got age-gated on.
I could then cut out the 1 piece of the video I knew contained it, appealed, and got it back

Dealing with the same thing right now on a new video, but no specification. Appeal rejected in 7 minutes on a 23 min video

I feel that YouTube gives Mark more breathing room because he's said many times that he's ready to throw down with YouTube and has called them out every single time they made a mistake

First it was Act Man... then it was Cory, and now yours truly (thank you for the shout out btw!). YouTube is almost asking for another platform to challenge it as the world's only video website. One day, it will be dethroned. This madness needs to end.

I'm genuinely happy that everyone is finally coming together to have a serious talk about this, because YouTube is destroying itself

That's the main problem with Youtube, they won't explain what you did wrong based on their guidelines that are as vague as it can be.
And they don't want to work with you if you're not on the favorite list.

The appeal system is like that old meme, a picture of paper shredder with "complain box" written on it.

Youtube and Twitch getting attacked for double standards. Love it.
