  I love how the quests can range from gutwrenchingly sad/depressing to just absolutely hysterical. The one with the nopon wife who was trying to cheat on her husband and baby trap another nopon had my jaw on the floor with how wild it was. I also really love the alien race's backstories and history. The Tree Clan Prone being very family oriented and also having the sad history of enslavement and losing many family members got me to feel for those weird tentacle faced/hole mouthed guys.

  The Hraesvelg single handedly stopped me from fast traveling, it&apos;s SO MUCH FUN to use it, I wish it had more fuel

  Xenoblade X is probably my favorite game. The world, soundtrack (99% of the songs), combat, creatures are all perfect, and the story (while not as great as other Xeno games) and characters (Celica) are amazing. I&apos;m so glad we finally got a port after a decade as the Definitive Edition definitely improved the game greatly. It&apos;s weird watching old videos of the game and seeing how different it looks, the UI especially.

  I 100% this game in about 160 hrs... I played like 800 hours in Wii U version, so I hit the ground running in this one... The quality of life improvements, quest tracking, and fast loading made this game SOOOO much better... One of my favorite game ever as well...

  One additional really personal reason that makes me enjoy X so much (that nobody really talks about) is the general military vibe it gives off. I come from a military family, and there&apos;s a certain vibe my family has that a lot of the characters in this game also have. In a way that makes them feel a lot more down-to-earth than a lot of other stories I&apos;ve seen.

  Man I relate so much with what you like about this game, the hook for me tho was I felt so small so absurdly minuscule, I played the original Xenoblade and remember thinking &quot;this game is really good and the Wii can do this? Wow&quot; But that was kinda it, when I got X, I had already played Skyrim and Witcher 3 so I thought I had seen the best and greatest open worlds in gaming.<br><br>I was so wrong, the sheer beauty and scale of the world blew me away, it was not just that It was big it FELT big, no longer was I thinking &quot;oh wow, Nintendo can do this?&quot; It was just &quot;Holy sh*t&quot; and while that moment didn&apos;t just kickstart a new world view, it shook my brain just enough towards the idea that &quot;it truly is a big, beautiful world out there isn&apos;t it?&quot; For it to start sticking<br><br>Anyway, How&apos;s it poppin&apos;?

  X will always have a special place in my heart. I will always love this game.<br><br>They could make a game called “Xenoblade Chronicles X But Better” that is literally just Xenoblade Chronicles X but better in every way, and was made for the sole purpose of being Xenoblade Chronicles X but better… and I’d still choose Xenoblade Chronicles X.<br><br>No game will ever be as special to me as this game. I got the OG when I was 9 at Christmas, and was immediately in love with the sheer awesomeness of fighting aliens with guns, swords, lightsabers, and big mechs. I had no clue what the hell I was doing, but I was having the time of my life anyways. I would run home after school to boot my Wii U up and just… play with no real goal in mind. It was so cool.

  X combat honestly is the one i found the most fun out of the series, it took till 3 to finally even attempt to tie it. so many weird wacky things that you could do. honestly the one thing i am kinda disapointed they didnt do is attempt to rebalance the weapons so that things like ether the only top DPS. i honestly didnt care if it was nerfing how corecrusher worked, or they bring the other weapons up, just a much better spread of really good options when considering damage output.<br>i do remember some of the quest lines, but the one that outright stuck with me all this time was actually the cat and how it attempts to live on mira like with the of the species. this is so rare amung all the sifi i see, and its still the best example i directly have.

  X had become my 2nd favorite game of all time since I picked it up when it first came out, first being Star Ocean 3. It just hit all the right notes for me, specifically the sci-fi elements.
