It's crazy how common this is - caller slips from making a loose call to play a hand against the big fish into planning a maniacal three street bluff to try and get the fish to fold a big hand. Got saved by the river in this case.

I’ve learned the hard way it’s not profitable to try and bluff bad players off of what they consider to be made hands. On the turn, if I think he has two pair or better, the last thing that I’m doing is trying to get him off of it. Too many times they overvalue and overplay medium strength hands

Raising turn to get a guy on a rush off top two is lighting money on fire. If hero didn't bink river, we'd never hear about this hand.

The villain flops a straight, and then he lets the hero get there to take his whole stack? The hero got lucky as hell, and the villain is horrible.

At the very end Bart didn’t understand what the caller meant. Caller said he thought V was chopping with him - ONLY because V took five seconds to call. However, when hero MADE the river bet, he thought V had a medium strength hand.
