Fun fact about Meme Run: the reason why it got on the system in the first place is becuase the creator basically begged Nintendo to put it on like 8 times, and then they finally caved. This makes it even funnier that it got delisted for the Troll Face tbh

The reason that PDI Check was on the eShop was so that doctors in developing nations where they couldn't get expensive medical equipment could still get tools to help test the eyes of children. It's honestly really cool that they found the alternative to having to get the expensive equipment, and I'm sure it helped a lot of children.

gotta love how everyone's like: "oh man I'm so nostalgic for the Wii U and 3DS e shops, Nintendo don't take them away!" and then Ant goes: "screw that, I'm gonna tear this crap apart!"

PDI check relies on the 3d aspect of the 3ds. basically you need to pick the one that's at a different depth

In a small defense of pdi check being $100, standard pdi equipment can cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Compared to that, $100 is quite cheap.

I actually had Kutar as a kid, I begged my mom to let me buy all 10 games. That was the worst 20 dollars I ever spent, because each was 2 dollars, which should have been the price for all 10. I still enjoyed it a fair bit though.

That brief showing of Dragalia Lost at 9:20 hurt my heart.

1:25 Yeah it hurts. Especially with Yo-Kai Watch 3. That franchise was done so dirty here in the states (ironic since the third game takes place in America).

I hope to give some insight to the eye trainer "game" as there is some much needed context that antdude in my opinion should have considered. This software is not a brain age type thing, it isn't for us consumers, it was made a super cool eye doctor that wanted to create a more friendly and intuitive alternative to the much more expensive specialized equipment. I really respect this dude for making a whole ass software that is cheaper then bulky equipment and I feel like it gets too much flack.

The 3DS will always be my favorite handheld system of all time. It’s home to so many of my favorite games and franchises. Plus it actually had wallpapers and music. And the virtual console was pretty good. Too bad all of those features never returned on the Switch.
