  I’ve climbed Everest a number of times; from my couch. Very comfortable warm and easy to breathe

  Romantic? No!  Extremely irresponsible couple left behind a son who’s barely into teenager without parents, or money just because the mom wanted a record.  She knew if she climbed those peak without oxygen, there’s a huge, undeniable possibility of dying.  Parents’ responsibility is supposedly to their kids first.  No excuse.  And I wonder the long hours she’s been suffocating, lying on the mountain, and waiting to die, had she for once thought about her son and regretted being so reckless?

  I cannot imagine passing dead bodies on the way up a mountain. And there r many up there.  There’s so much to do here on the ground

  I'll never climb Everest because I love being alive. I'm not going up some mountain to suffocate to death. That's really stupid when you think about it.

  My couch is in a room with air that is automatically cooled and heated. It has pillows and throws. And a dog taking a nap. I so enjoy my couch while watching videos of the harsh conditions braved by mountain climbers.

  This is just brutal, almost unbearable, reading about that woman's slow death. How can anyone be so foolish as to try summiting Everest without oxygen???

  Humans have such little value for their lives they are willing to literally die, all the while stepping over hundreds of people that already died trying, to stand on the top of a mountain and take a photo. <br>I just can’t.😑
