Such a sweet boat, I want to build one. I do have some suggestions if you want more output with your array. <br>-Sunpower maxeon cells. You will notice the difference in total generation over the day when array is limited in size<br>-Secure those batteries. RVIA code states securing bank with something that can handle eight times the batteries weight if force is applied to center of gravity. ABYC probably has a standard too but Idk it. Probably under e-13<br>-The solar panels need to be black to absorb certain wavelengths to generate power, but the rest of the boat should be white to lower the temp which will increase voltage. Not by much, but you want to get rid of all the heat you can. Only black thing on the boat should be the panels. <br>-Swap out the flex panels on the side for glass panels. They will fail. Dont listen or trust the marketing. Especially with the water. They will delam in 2-5 years. And output will drop long before that. Also the cables are blocking the panels. <br>-hit those battery terminations with a heat camera. You wont believe how much a few watts of loss here and there adds up. <br>-You cannot have more than 3 lugs on a single terminal of a bus bar. I would rewire everything and protect the wires. It is never if but when they will be damaged. Also, run conduit for the solar conductors. The battery voltages are not dangerous but solar array voltages are terrifying. <br><br>Thats all i can see right now and one other video. Thanks for the video! A good way to stop the rolling in Anchorage is to use a bridle system where you attach your anchor to the bow as usual but also run a bridle temporarily attached to the anchor line back to a cleat on the stern. My adjusting the lengths of the two lines you can change the angle of the boat to the oncoming swells.

You could automate the throttle to keep the motor power just under the solar panels during the day, that way you could travel the whole day in the max speed possible to always keep the batterys 100%, being able to continue day after day and use the batteries during the night.
